Players / former Players

Who has had the biggest Influence on your Career? Pulashti Gunaratne. He told me to just whack it, and generally it has worked.

What is your most memorable Cricketing moment? Winning the senior cup this year. However I don’t remember much after entering the Village Inn.

What is your funniest Cricketing moment? Alistair Bushe getting hit on the forehead by a skier at Coleraine Inst and proceding to catch the ball. The bump was huge! Brian Hanna (who was umpiring) and I (fielding at square leg) laughed for ages.

Who is your favourite International Cricketer, and why? Sehwag – doesn’t care how it gets to the boundary.

If you didn’t play Cricket, what would you do instead? Play golf and drink a few beers at the Lawn on a Saturday afternoon while sorting out the worlds problems with Geordie and Big Chub.

Within WCC who is your Nemesis and who is your bunny? (i.e. who always gets you out and whom do you always get out?) Always knick Bushey out with my sharp away swingers and love bowling to Cousy (like everyone else).
